For the third year, 99 members of the Essex Tech fall sports teams joined Team Sarina for the Massachusetts Down Syndrome Congress Buddy Walk around Lake Quannopowitt in Wakefield. The sports members walked for Sabrina Flynn, the sister of Teddie Flynn who is a junior student on the Essex Tech volleyball team.
On October 11, 2017, sixteen students of the school’s health assisting program were recognized during a special pinning ceremony.
